The Smart Card can Provide Diverse Services.

The smart card's unique computing functions and large memory capacity make it possible for a single card to perform a wide range of functions beyond payment and financial services. For example, it can process credit or cash advances which may include ETC (electronic toll collection), loyalty programs, public transport fare payment and E-purse. Applications for the Internet, digital satellite broadcasting, mobile phones and mobile terminals are also possible.
